Managed by Arts Nunawading, the Nunawading Arts and Crafts Market has been running since 1985, showcasing a range of handmade goods from unique art and crafts to fresh produce and gourmet food.

When: Fourth Sunday of each month from 8am to 1pm

Where: 51A Great Ryrie St, Heathmont

From sausage sizzles and coffee to freshly baked pastries and hot jam doughnuts, there’s something to satisfy anyone’s tastebuds. Bring your furry friends too - dogs on leashes are welcome.

When: First Saturday of each month (except January) - with an additional Christmas market on the third Saturday in December - from 8am to 1pm

Where: Stiggant Reserve, Warrandyte

With more than 70 stallholders, Warrandyte Riverside Market has plenty of handmade wares and produce, or you can simply visit to enjoy the local buskers and have a family day out. Proceeds are often returned to the community on a regular basis through sponsorships and grants and partner payments.

When: First Sunday of the month (excluding January) from 9am to 2pm, gold coin on entry

Where: Yarra Ranges Council, Lilydale - enter via Hardy Street

The Lilydale Craft and Produce Market has raised more than $300,000 for the Lilydale community since it launched in 2009, with Rotary Lilydale returning proceeds to the community through a number of projects and donations.

When: Second Sunday of each month from 8am to 1pm

Where: Whitehorse Civic Centre, 379 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading

Whitehorse Farmers’ Market has been run by Whitehorse Rotary Group every month since 2006. Enjoy the wide range of fruit, vegetables and meats, as well as bread, cakes, pasta, eggs, chutneys and olive oils. You can also grab a bacon and egg sandwich and a freshly brewed coffee.

When: Third Sunday of each month from 9am to 1.30pm

Where: Punt Road Winery, 10 Saint Huberts Road, Coldstream

Hosted at Punt Road Winery, come down to try out fresh fruit, vegetables and freshly squeezed juices, or local handmade bread, biscuits, cakes and chocolates, jams, chutney, tea and coffee. 

Priding itself as Victoria's longest-running monthly market, it gives you the chance to buy direct from the grower, producer or maker, knowing the produce is fresh and has low food miles.
